Welcome to Obedience Ministries Blog

This blog is for the sole purpose of delivering messages ordained by the Lord Jesus Christ that are spoken through Messenger Brian Plummer and Prophetess Carolyn Plummer. Obedience Ministries was formed in 2008 to help God’s people understand and learn the severity of Complete Obedience to the Lord in all things. Total surrender and obedience are required in fulfilling God’s ordained purpose for your life. This blog is an avenue to help those seeking teachings on total submission and learning how to walk in complete obedience.

Welcome to Obedience Ministries Blog #1 (Part 2)

God’s perfect plan

There is a process the Lord has set for each of us when we totally submit to His will. Genesis 12:1-2 “Now the Lord had said to Abram: “Get out of your country, From your family and from your Father’s house, To a land that I will show you. I will make you a great nation; I will bless you and make your name great; And you shall be a blessing.”  This is the required process for anyone who has totally submitted to God. The Lord removes you from your comfort zone (family, friends, jobs…), uproots you from a familiar place and sends you to a place He has chosen for you. Then the Lord will reveal to you exactly what He has purposed you for. There God will prepare, teach, train and impart in you His ways in order for you to fulfill your purpose.

In your will God grants you His grace and mercy; in God’s will you abide in His favor and protection!

The Lord rewards those who diligently seek Him; with complete obedience comes God’s priceless rewards. In your will God grants you His grace and mercy. In God’s will you abide in His favor and protection. God also gives you spiritual power and authority in complete obedience to fulfill the works He has ordained for you.  Just as He gave to Elijah in 1 kings 17:1; “And Elijah the Tishbite, of the inhabitants of Gilead, said to Ahab, “As the Lord God of Israel lives, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, except at my word.”God gave Elijah the supernatural power and authority to cause a drought. God gave Moses the authority to free Israel, David the power to slay Goliath, through Joshua’s command the Lord held the sun in the sky all day. Complete obedience and submission to the Lord’s will grant you authority through Christ to perform signs and wonders.  He will make you a pillar in His kingdom and you will bless others with the knowledge, wisdom and gifts He has imparted into you.

Why is God’s process so drastic? It’s simple; He has to retrain years of worldly influence and opinions of others. In order to do so God has to separate you from the people and things that you are easily influenced by. Many times when people hear God’s voice, they search out direction or confirmation from others. That is a big NO NO! Opinions from others are rooted in ulterior motives; ranging from jealously to control to monetary motives. Therefore the advice or opinion given will be advantageous for them not you. God wants you to trust Him completely without outside interference. When the Lord gives instructions, if needed He will send confirmation; you don’t have to seek it out for yourself. The Lord’s process also cleanses all ungodly things out of you; it causes you to decrease in the flesh and increase in the spirit. You are no longer of this world, only in it. Messenger Brian and I no longer live by the world’s standards. We are not enslaved to any company or mundane job. We now move in God’s time; His clock is our clock. The will of God releases you from the natural world and you acquire freedom to move about doing His kingdom business. This is the end result God wants for all His children.

In order to receive the fullness of God, He requires the fullness of you!

Receiving the fullness of God is based on your willingness to submit completely. I don’t want you to confuse God’s love with God’s trust; they are two different things. God’s love is unconditional; He loves the person and hates sin. God’s trust must be earned; you must prove your commitment and love to Him, not the other way around. This is where many get in trouble, God owes us nothing; He only wants what’s best for us.  Many think they know what’s best, instead of following God’s instructions. Then they want God to conform and confirm their own carnal will. They get mad at God blaming Him for their negative harvest that resulted from their disobedience by following their own carnal will. You can’t have it both ways; it’s simple, in order to receive the fullness of God, He requires the fullness of you.

Your salvation is for you; your submission to the will of God is for others!

You MUST go one step further beyond salvation… SUBMISSION! Salvation is a gift for you from the Lord Jesus Christ. The Lord sacrificed His only begotten son Jesus for our souls. Jesus sacrificed His life for our sins through His complete obedience. We must sacrifice our own will and submit to the Lord’s will. Complete submission is our sacrifice we must endure to bring forth God’s will; total obedience, fulfillment of your predestine purpose and expanding His kingdom. Your salvation is for you; your submission to God is for others. Complete submission brings you to total obedience. As Jesus stated in John 14:31 “But that the world may know that I love the Father, and as the Father gave Me commandment, so I do…” Jesus demonstrated His love for God through His total obedience to God’s commands. What if Jesus disobeyed and was rebellious to the Lord? Where would you be? His obedience saved us, redeemed our souls. Just as Jesus obedience realigned us back to the Father, our obedience to Him will bring others to Him as well.

Ask yourself

What is the least we can do? God sent His only begotten Son Jesus Christ so that we may have everlasting life. Jesus was persecuted, shed His blood and died on the cross for our sins. To believe in Him and become a Christian is a privilege; a gift to us. The least we can do for the Lord is show our love, appreciation and honor Him for His gift by our actions. All the Lord asks of us is our complete obedience to Him in all things. That is the least we can do! Wouldn’t you agree?
