Our Testimony    

Messenger Brian Plummer and Prophetess Carolyn Plummer were both born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. They married in August of 1993 and have two boys. Brian worked at Ford Motor Company for thirteen years and Carolyn worked at DaimlerChrysler for twelve and half years. Life in the natural was good. Making a combined annual income of $140,000.00 and having all the material things money could buy (homes, cars, jewelry…); yet something was missing. There was a void, unhappiness in knowing that there was something more to their lives. Knowing that working for the “Big Three” was not God’s ultimate plan, they began to seek the Lord for answers. Realizing they could no longer “ride the fence” and partially surrender to the Lord, the Plummer’s TOTALLY SURRENDERED five years ago. The Lord then led them to Straight Gate International Church, in Detroit, Michigan in order to prepare them for their process.

                                                                                             

On January 1, 2007, the Lord told the Plummer’s that He is making them His Signs and Wonders for this generation. In surrendering they had to quit their jobs, relinquish all material possessions and follow Him in complete obedience. The Lord had them follow the same process as Abram in Genesis 12: 1-5 (The same concept but different circumstances). The Lord then told them what He purposed their family for; His message of obedience. He then began to retrain their thought process to learn how to trust and obey Him completely in ALL THINGS. They learned to walk in the strictest obedience, never questioning, yet always responding to the Lord’s first request.

Through their obedience process the Lord allowed them to become homeless. In the first stage of their homelessness the Lord took them into seclusion. They could not talk to anyone, ask for any assistance and could not ask to live with anybody. It was total reliance on the Lord. Their testimony is vast, long and books will be written to share the story of their journey. The Lord wants their story told in order for His people to understand the seriousness of obedience. This overview is a very brief summary of the complete Obedience Ministries testimony. 

The Lord then moved them from Michigan to Georgia. This is where He wanted them to start the ministry called Obedience Ministries. The Lord has ordained Brian as His Messenger of Obedience and his wife Carolyn, a Prophetess. They have been in Georgia since March 20, 2008, totally relying on the Lord for all provisions. For this season The Lord chose the Bible belt area to start His message of obedience. They will not form a church because it will confine His message. The Lord wants the message of obedience spread abroad. The Plummer’s will move about ministering God’s word of obedience. During the previous season, the Lord moved them about delivering His obedience message throughout the hotels they resided in.

This is a new season for Obedience Ministries; God is expanding the ministries’ territory in order to reach a wider range of His people. The Lord will not allow them to charge any honorariums for teaching His message of obedience. They can however accept any offerings or donations given in order to help Obedience Ministries further God’s mission to teach obedience.
