Welcome to the first blog for Obedience Ministries. This blog site is one of the many avenues where God’s Messenger of Obedience, Brian Plummer and I, Prophetess Carolyn Plummer will release the knowledge and wisdom that the Lord Jesus Christ has imparted into each of us to share with His kingdom. Complete obedience and surrender to God will be the main focus. Some blogs will have information pertaining to a subject God wants His children liberated from. We will discuss the problem, what specific demonic spirits are involved and how to become cleansed and free. All the subjects will eventually tie in together regarding total submission and obedience to the Lord.
Let’s start with understanding why complete obedience is so important. First and foremost it is God’s law. Deuteronomy 10:12 states, “And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God require of you, but to fear the Lord your God, to walk in all His ways and to love Him, to serve the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul.” The verse states we must have a reverenced fear of God, walk in ALL of His ways and serve the Lord with ALL our heart and soul. It did not say walk in some of His ways or when we feel like walking in His ways. The word walk here is an action; to move according to God’s instruction. Whether it’s God’s written or spoken word; the Lord birthed each and every one of us for complete obedience.
“Obedience is the highest form of worship and praise”–Thus says the Lord.
The Webster’s Dictionary states obedience as: “To carry out or yield to the command, authority, or instructions of,” in other words; submission to authority. God’s supremacy of authority is His sovereignty and we must come under subjection to it; He is the highest authority. He created this law in Heaven and applied it to earth as well. We must subject ourselves to all forms of earthly authority God created; government, local authority, parents, teachers... Why? To have civilized order maintained throughout the earth; a world without lawlessness. Obedience to earthly authority is the prerequisite for obedience to God’s Heavenly authority. It teaches us submission early in life to prepare us for complete submission to the Lord.
Our Heavenly Father created us with preordained steps; He knows our future. In order for us to fulfill His predestine will; we must be obedient in all things. Total obedience is a requirement in God’s will; it is required for obtaining the fullness of God. He cannot trust someone who is not totally committed to Him; someone who teeter totters in their faith or is disobedient. Will God use someone who is not completely obedient? Of course, why does God use them? He will use anyone He wants to use in order to get His messages across; to a certain degree. The Lord’s trust in each of us is based on our level of trust and obedience to Him. The more you trust and obey, the more He will trust and promote/elevate you for His Kingdom. Will that person be in the fullness of God or in the will of God if they are not completely obedient? NO, God’s perfect will requires complete trust and obedience to Him. Why? Think of a vessel- a hollow container used to store, transport and transfer important things. Can you use broken or leaking vessels? Sometimes but you can’t use them to their full potential. Now if you fix or rebuild the vessel, then it is like new and ready for its full use. This is the way the Lord views His children; we’re His vessels. He can’t work fully through broken clogged vessels. We must allow God to fix us, remake and remold us into hollow cleansed vessels that He has prepared to His approval.
Once the Lord has striped you of the things of this world and has a hollow vessel to work through, He imparts the things of Him. God fills you with His knowledge, wisdom and revelation in the things needed to fulfill your kingdom purpose. Once God has equipped you, He will send you out on your predestine journey; kingdom work. The Lord can tell someone they are destined to become a multi millionaire in the business world. However if the person lacks total submission and obedience to God, they will not fulfill God’s purpose. Why? One of the principle reasons for total submission and obedience is preparation. The Lord must prepare you for greatness; God’s predestine will. If you are not giving your all to God before fulfilling your purpose, you won’t after. God will not allow a broken, rebellious, disobedient unclean vessel operate totally in His will. Are you ready to submit entirely to the Lord for your kingdom assignment?
